This is a video that goes through the sectional phase of this design. As can be seen, the design is mostly circular. The top and bottom have been made so as to refer to the first idea of the bottom studio being a shadow to the top studio.
This is a walkthrough through the top studio space. The rising structures that can be seen outside the structure can now be seen to have pierced through the structure. I have allowed this effect to further strengthen the idea of rising, as the forms rise, they surpass the structure and become one with the structure instead of being plain strips that wrap around the circular space.
This is a walkthrough through the underground studio space, where the concept of "shady" has been heavy implanted into every nook and cranny of the space. The translucent slabs that protrude from the structure, patterned with the irregular movement serve to bring more shade into the space. The stairs have been colored bright yellow, to indicate that most of the light will come from the entrances. The glass dome itself is patterned in order to further show the intricacy behind the word "shady".
