PROJECT 1: 3 IMAGES of FINAL DEVELOPED DESIGN

This is a side view of my sketchup model, the side which show one of the stairs leading up to the top studio space.  The space as can be seen has been clad in long thin strands that provoke a rising movement over the structure.

The entrance into the gallery can also be seen. It is an open space that is only confined by the 4 circular walls that are covered in fibrous patterns. The walls frame the stairs nicely, setting the stairs as a focus point in this image.

The underground studio as can be seen has a viewer's platform for visitors to observe the surrounding shadows cast by the slabs that protrude from the glass dome. This slabs serve to collect light from surrounding areas, redirecting them into the studio space, reimbursing the concept of a "shady" space.

This is another side view but this time we can see one of the main entrances to the underground studio clearly. Rails have been added along the side of the entrance to make a statement that the entrance is stuated there.

This image provides a closer look into the gallery space, between the top and underground studio. As can be seen, it is mostly open except for the four confinements. The platform in middle has varying heights  for the purpose of exhibiting different art works.
